rochester's hip-hop and neo-soul showcase is back, curated by the cloud lounge collective with sounds by wizardry. kai onyx, lxxseleaf midas, shua, and yogi barry hold down the main lineup, joined by special guests lady blade, lorainge serano, and huda danesha. good bars, good vibes, come unwind for the weekend.

luxury suite pulls from sports and cottage jefferson pedigree, fusing angular post-punk rhythm with power-pop edge. their debut single "sparrows" was produced by josh netsky and sam snyder of maybird. awful kanawful, rochester's own bedroom-recording rock and roll oddball,  opens.

world premiere night: no sorry's plays its first-ever show. this one's brand new but the members are all local vets. we’d tell you more but you just gotta see it for yourself. opening bill is stacked with beloved legends croix (dreamy punk) and goat farm (ethereal stoner doom) supporting no sorry’s for their debut.

kimaya diggs comes through fresh off "green," her new album about home and change, out october 2nd and this is one of her first stops with it. her songs move through jazz, soul, indie pop, and folk without losing the thread. cammy enaharo opens with reflective indie-folk and is joined by lilydale.

6pm doors, 7pm show, $15, 21+

boston's intac calls itself the "first indie music corporation". ill-fitting suits, mlm-parody slideshows, and songs that are sneakily great underneath the bit. their album "god is time, time is money, and the money's long gone" swings from alt-country to toy piano ballads to funky jams, all in the loose, unpolished spirit of the moldy peaches. welks mice bring their vibraphone-and-vocals pop duo down from buffalo, and rochester's own thorned crown open with dungeon folk.

plot twist is back on the calendar. there will be costumes. you will also be in costume. descriptions of this experience are nearly impossible so just come live in the moment with chintz, fawna, and xalvadaor as they take you on a surreal journey.

a night of hallowed horror. fourth dominion writes melodic, emotionally heavy songs that split the difference between gothic metal and alt-punk. cemetery echo bring "haunt 'n' roll" deathrock down from buffalo off their new full-length "civitas lachrimarum," and rochester's komrads opens with industrial punk.

halloween at bad ending. blue envy brings their hard rock, blues, and prog mix back to raise some hell. a rochester power trio that's been grinding since before high school graduation. flower kitty opens with power grunge and the turbulents round out the bill with midwestern pop-rock. costumes strongly encouraged.
